Dear Friends,
Our story began in 1988, when we—Esther and Peter—immigrated from Korea to Washington State, full of hope, determination, and a dream to build a better life for our family. Not long after arriving, we found our calling in the restaurant business, serving fresh, comforting food to our neighbors in the Mill Creek area. For decades, we poured our hearts into every dish, every customer interaction, and every long day and night in the kitchen.
Through the years, it has been your support—your loyalty, your kind words, your repeat visits—that helped us raise our children and send them to college. You’ve been more than customers; you’ve been part of our journey, our extended family.
In 2024, we opened Joy Teriyaki here in Mukilteo, continuing the same journey we started all those years ago. Our goal is simple: to serve this wonderful community with the same warmth, generosity, and delicious flavors that have carried us through.
